Meeting Summary: Performance Tuning and Cheetah Roadmap

IBM welcomes Informix users! No entry fees! Enjoy free food, drinks, and prizes. The next MIUG meeting will be held on Tuesday March 20, 2007, from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM in the IBM building on 9 Mile and Southfield Rd. Get the latest information on new announcements and the direction of Informix and IBM products and the Cheetah release which is due out this year! Get performance Tuning Tips from Jacques Roy for Informix databases. You can also help define the future of MIUG (see below).

Presenter:

Jacques Roy - a member of the worldwide sales enablement organization at IBM. He is the author of "IDS.2000: Server-Side Programming in C" and the lead author of "Open-Source Components for IDS 9.x". He is also the author of multiple technical articles on a variety of subjects. He as been a frequent speakers at data management conferences and multiple Informix user group meetings

From 696: Take I-696 to Greenfield Road. Go south on Greenfield Road, proceed to 9 Mile Road. Turn right on 9 Mile Road (west) to IBM (on right side, approx. 1 mile).

From the Lodge: Take the Lodge (M-10) to 9 Mile Road. Go east on 9 Mile Road (look for the large building) and proceed to IBM (on the left after the overpasses).
